Our smARTS Series is made up of shows that both introduce students to live theatre and incorporate existing Frederick County Public School curricula. All smARTS performances start at 10:00 a.m. Join us for this season's smARTS Series, and introduce your students to the excitement and wonder of LIVE! theatre, music, and dance. Tours

The Weinberg Theatre, originally called the Tivoli, opened on December 23, 1926. We've grown along with the community around us, and we'd like to show you around. Celebrating 80 years of movie history and 28 years of performing arts we would like to show you around.

We offer free tours of the Weinberg Center, for groups by appointment only. Taking a Weinberg tour is a wonderful way to glimpse Frederick's past and one of the few remaining grand historic movie theatres.

During a tour of the Weinberg Center you can explore backstage, see the "green room" where performers prepare to go onstage, and visit the projection room, which has been showing continually for 80 years.

We're proud of our theatre, and we'd be happy to give you a closer look. For information about scheduling a tour, please contact John Healey at 301-600-2839.
