It was a beautiful, hot summer's day in Frederick. I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express with my mom, my little sister and my good friend Licia from San Diego. I went to get my hair done and forgot my veil! (Probably one of the only hiccups on the day!)

Okay, check the calendars - June 22nd today. School has officially been out for just a bit over a week (and don't think I am not counting down the days until August 23rd!!) and I have heard "I'm bored" more times than I care to count. "Auntie" is visiting from Australia (not to be confused with Aunt Flo - hee hee) and she has been SO extremely helpful

So I am a lot slack. But I have some valid excuses (don't we always???) But I didn't want too much time to pass before I publicly wished my husband and my son a very Happy Birthday which they both celebrated on Sunday.

They always say that girls have their Father's wrapped around their little finger. I hate to admit it but Brodie does that to me.

She really is my little princess!! Whenver she looks up at me with those big blue eyes of hers (don't know where they came from - Dani's are brown and mine are green?!?) and giggles or smiles at me - I literally melt!

There was an event that happened

It has now been one week since my mum and sister left Maryland and returned to Australia. It was fantastic to have them here, even if it was only for a short time of less than 3 weeks.

 The funniest thing about having Mum and Elisha around was that I felt like I had 3 mothers (or 3 wives) around all the time. They always say that a boy will marry someone just like his mother - well,

My husband will be cracking up at this title. This is what he says about me all the time...and I hate to admit it, but I know he's right. I have so much going on all the time - either in my brain, or in my life - that I am constantly getting distracted with things that have nothing to do with the project I was focusing on two seconds earlier.
