Keel's Simple DiaryPosted by Faves and Raves in simple diary, Faves and Raves |
WHY IT'S COOL:
I have been journal writing since I was 16 - I have about 35 journals filled with stories of my life. I definitely recommend keeping a journal and it's never too late to start.
One thing I have found is that making entries
into my journals on a frequent basis is getting harder and harder. And Simple Diary has this all figured out...they write, "There are three reasons why most people, although they have tried, won't keep a diary:
- Not every day is eventful.
- It actually takes a lot of discipline to write.
- In retrospect, many find what they have written embarrassing.
The Simple Diary offers help - each page is filled with "prompters" making it easy to record how the day progressed. Also on each page, Simple Diary offers words of wisdom, insight into your thoughts and how you really feel.
Here's a sample:
Date: __________
Your day was (only choose one):
( ) mobbed ( ) a bus stop ( ) running on the spot
Explain why: ______________________
Everything is alright. ( ) more ( ) less
Fate hopes to encounter mercy.
In a state of thrill:
-
Adrenaline waltzing with endorphins.
-
Exaggerations ask if they can join in.
-
Keep your feet on the ground and chill.
In a state of desolation
-
Tons of other people are sitting in the same boat.
-
Be careful with whom you share your state of mind.
-
There is basically only one way out: go do something.
As a baby you drooled uncontrollably ( ) Yes ( ) No
