4th_color2.gifIt's time for the 2nd Annual 4th on the Farm event at Crumland Farms. Sunday, July 4th, 2010, we are bringing Frederick the most awesome family tradition around. (And, if you aren't from Frederick, we invite you to partake in an event that will surely be top of your list for years to come.)

Tots2Tweens is proud to sponsor this event and with the help from tons of local businesses we are able to grow this event from last year. With huge thanks and help from Key 103 and 106.9 The Eagle we're so excited to bring local families an event that's safe and fun for everyone!!reaganyears.jpg

The 4th on the Farm hits Crumland Farms on July 4th from 12noon to 9pm.

The main stage will feature live music including: Sister Mary Elephant, The Freddie Long Band, The Reagan Years and the students from Frederick's Rock School (they'll be performing songs from the Beatles and AC/DC!!) Plus, there will be a 2nd stage with music from Kidsinger Jim flblogo300dpi.jpgand Magic Shows from Culler Magic.

There will be tons to keep all members of the family entertained: moon bounces, pedal carts, The Moo Choo Train, the trike track, the giant slide, The Ocean in Motion - an aquarium on wheels sponsored by Celebree Learning Centers and a Guitar Hero challenge - sponsored by Geico of Frederick - with the winner will get one month of free lessons from Frederick's Rock School!! (Waaaayyy cool!) Think you'll be hungry?? Enter in  the wing eating contest being held on the main stage (contact Key 103 for details).

You can visit lots of vendors (over 25 right now), buy some great food and drink and lots more!!

Each family gets a treasure map - if you visit all the vendors you get a stuffed Tots2Tweens goody bag AND tons of prizes!!

Oh, and did I mention there would be FIREWORKS???!! That's right, the north side of Frederick will have its very own fireworks show by the world-reknowned company Zambelli (who does the Frederick Keys fireworks show!)

Kids are FREE the entire event...adults are $5 each AFTER 4pm...so come early and pay nothing! There's tons of parking and you can come and go as you like! No pets, please. And you can bring a picnic but no alcohol is permitted to be brought into the grounds. There will be food and drink available for purchase.

Everyone had a great time. This was our 2nd year to attend. I was disappointed that this was such a family event and they had to server beer and wine. Why? The fireworks were awesome! Thank you! smilies/wink.gif

written by dgurrie, July 03, 2010
Thanks for the question - we do have handicapped parking and there are some gravel pathways (unpaved)...we have had many people who are in wheelchairs at the farm before so you should be okay (although keep in mind that it may be a little rough terrain!!)
    Thanks.
